Coral Gables Florida Culture

The Miami Momentum Dance Company creates, produces and performs works based on classical and historical aspects to inform the public about dance. We are looking for highly qualified professionals who can be inspired by interesting challenges in an established and dynamic community.

Young Opera, a 45-minute opera production by the Coral Gables Symphony Orchestra and the South Florida Opera Company. Children are taught on Sundays from 9.30 a.m. to noon in the auditorium of the University of Miami School of Music. SundaysMusical.org and presents concerts at various locations in CoralGables throughout the year.

Younger visitors can also look forward to many different festivals taking place throughout the year, such as the Coral Gables Music Festival, the South Florida Festival of Arts and Crafts and many more. Free live music and free family days at various locations in CoralGables, Sundays from 12 noon to 4 pm.

If you're on vacation with your kids, the Miami Children's Museum is a fun way to get to know the culture here. The museum is intended for children from 3 years of age who want to participate in various activities.

They also have two campuses, including a historic campus on Ponce de Leon Boulevard and a modern campus in the west of the city. Coral Gables also houses the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of South Florida and the Miami-Dade County Library.

We met the director of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Florida on the Coral Gables campus. The Miami - Dade County Museum of Art is also just a short walk away, and just a few blocks away you can also take a look at some of Miami's most famous art galleries and museums.

The Florida Shakespeare Theatre was housed at the Menorca Playhouse in Coral Gables until it was destroyed by Hurricane Andrew. The architecture of the city is so strong that it had to be incorporated into the Coral Gables Congregational Church, which was donated by Merrick and which still stands today and forms a large part of the ambience of CoralGables. A large part of the five rooms that were previously housed are now housed in a museum curated by Arva Moore Parks and designed by Tom Graboski and produced by SFY Architectural Signs and Displays. The Actors Playhouse in Coral Gables also offers a free movie series, and the Miami Jazz Film Society offers free screenings every Tuesday night - 24 hours a day. The complex, also known as the Old Police and Fire Station, is one of the oldest public buildings in the city of Coral Gables, Florida. The CoralGables Museum presents exhibits and programs that explore the history, architecture, design, building environment and history of Miami-Dade County. Help to inspire other visionaries and to realize the vision of a city where the dream of an ideal city became reality. It will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2016 and in partnership with the Miami Beach Museum of Natural History and the Florida Historical Society, celebrating the community of coral reefs planned for the 1920s.
