I think I've lived a very eventful and full life. I'm pretty happy with where I am now and looking forward to the future.

Raised by a small Chinese family from Singapore during the cold war, my parents flew from mother Russia and left to resolve differences between the United States and Cuba. I am a simple down to earth person, I don't go out much. I have a full time job that keeps me busy.

I am a fun loving guy. No, really, who would say they don't love fun? I like to go out and have a good time but I also like to stay in sometimes. I tend to be impulsive and when I get an idea in my head there is no dissuading me. I enjoy the outdoors, particularly backpacking, or sailing, or rock-climbing. I like anything that can get me away from all the excess of everyday. Most people don't take the time to listen to the world around you. There are moments when you are out in nature that the silence is profoundly deafening, and those moments just take your breath away.

What can I say about me? I am a New Yorker. I am honest, direct, and not overly emotional. I love my dogs (I have two), I love to cook, and I love my job (I love what I do, but not so much where I am doing it right now). I am a good friend and a good listener. I am out of the house from 8am until almost 8pm almost every day (even some Saturdays), so I am not of much use to the world on weeknights. I spend my Sundays in my kitchen, preparing my lunches and dinners for the week. I suppose I am a cranky old lady before my time, and a bit of a homebody, but I am capable of going out and having a good time if the right person motivates me to get my butt out of my house. I am significantly compartmentalized and regimented, but I can deviate from my course with relatively little notice (I can deviate even farther from my course with ample notice).

I moved to Miami in February of 2007, and so far I love it...traffic sucks and August is ungodly hot, but the rest is like being on vacation with a full-time job. Especially now that I moved to Brickell. I have a view of the bay that people up home would kill for. I am a very very lucky girl.

Also, I have four tattoos in rather discrete places, so if ink on a chick is a deal-breaker for you, move on. They are permanent. Also, I smoke socially. I do not smoke around non-smokers, and I do not smoke in my house. I usually do not even bring my cigarettes out with me. But if there is coffee or alcohol involved, it is likely that I will have one. If there is a lot of alcohol and if other people around me are smoking, there is a good chance I am smoking too. I am not compulsive. I can take it or leave it in most scenarios. But I do enjoy it at the right times in the right company. All things in moderation, so say Ben Franklin, right?

A typical work day for me is to get home around 5pm, and on those days I don't pick up my 9 year old daughter, I come home and exercise. I just bought a "step". I do that for 30 minutes (my goal is to get up to 45-60 minutes). As my profile photo would painfully suggest, I need to drop the 20-25lbs that have crept up on me over the last 10yrs. Perhaps we can exercise together and you can help me? Or if needed, help each other... Anyway,after exercise (and a shower of course :-), I have a simple dinner, retire to the couch with a glass of wine, a netflix movie on my TV, and the Internet on my laptop...Go to sleep around 11 and pretty much do the same thing all over the next day. And when I don't have my daughter on weekends, not much really happening. Lot's of "me" time...In fact, too much "ME" time these days, hence I'm here. I've gone through a lot of different experiences over the last 40 years(especially the last 10)...Would love to have someone to share those experiences with. Also, it'd be great to meet someone new and hear what's been going on in their life. So, that's the reader digest version of my life. There's lots more...But, that's it for now. To summarize myself, is a bit difficult because I have a tendency to be at times at two different extremes. There is a side of me of that is a bit rebellious, adventurous and very care free. Yet, there is a side of me that is extremely responsible, caring and too honest at times. I am attracted to people with a good sense of humor, witty, charming and articulate. I am currently a manager at Performance Team Miami. I make good money for a man my age. Well, I am a senior psych major, and I enjoy my field. It is amazing to get to a new level of understanding of oneself and one's environment. That being said, i know i stress out alot, but i also let loose and have fun :). I can seem uptight at times, but its only because I want the best for myself. I also love to travel. Through my company I have made great friends all over the country. I am stoked that this summer I am going to be visiting one of my best friends out in Las Vegas. I can't wait to go.

I'm an easy-going, smart, funny guy recently back in Miami after 18 years in NYC. I have Northeastern sensibilities with a Spanish flair. Though quiet and shy at first, once I get to know someone and feel comfortable around them I can be quite outgoing and footloose. I like traveling and enjoy going to new places or to meditation retreats to regain my sense of balance. Nights at home are fun as well curled up with a good book or Netflix DVD.

I attend Miami-Dade College. I'm in and out with debating what i want my major to be.. For now I'm just finishing my AA- Hopefully this RN program works out for the better.

I used to play world of warcraft- I got to the end of BC with awesome gear etc- But Once the xpack came into play i only reached level 76- I love the game i just think blizz got too crazy with a few things.
